Wesley Ray Holman

Wesley Ray Holman

Biography

Wesley “Wes” Ray Holman, 45, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on April 10, 2024. Wes was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Billy Ray Holman and Vicki Ann Rogers (Campbell) on May 15, 1978. Wes was a 1997 Sallisaw High School Graduate. Throughout life, he would work as a welder and truck driver, but truck driving fit his free spirit and was what brought him the most joy. More than anything, though, he was a proud father and grandfather. Wes was often the “laugh of the party,” if he could make a moment more awkward for a laugh, he would surely do it. He had a unique wittiness and a sense of humor that can not be replicated. Wes helped create memories with his dear family and friends that will last lifetimes.

“I am a Simpson now.” – Wes Holman.

Wes is survived by Jacki Ollie, who, in his own words, was the very best friend he had ever had; his children, Mathew and wife Myka Holman, Morgan Holman, and Garrett Holman; his siblings, Chris Holman, Jeremy and wife Crystal Holman, Josh and wife Rachelle Holman and Sarah and wife Alisa Holman, his parents, Bill and Georgetta Holman and Vicki and Frank Rogers, his grandchildren, Wylder and Wavelyn Holman, his neices and nephews, and countless friends he had made throughout life. He also leaves behind his four-legged companion, Beakers 9000.

Meeting him in Heaven as he arrived was his dog, Little Bit, and his goat, Jimmy Four Legs.

The family will honor Wes’s wishes by celebrating his life privately, just the way he wanted, with food, music, laughter, and memories.

The family has entrusted the arrangements to Forever Memories Funeral Services, INC, Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
