Heaven gained another angel, Shirley Yvonne (Moss) Davis, 81, of Vian, passed from this life on Oct 1, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on July 23, 1938 in Inglewood, CA to Austin and Jewel Inez (Eades) Moss. Shirley is survived by her children, Elder Curtis Davis, Yevonne and her husband William Webster, and Sherry Cowart, all of Vian, Glenda and her husband Reese Pilkington, and Dena Deen of Sallisaw. Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren. She was also blessed with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Dwayne Davis, infant son Cecil Dewey Davis, son in law Clayton (Skeeter) McEver, daughter in law Iva L Davis, one infant Grandson, one infant Great Grandson, one infant Great Great Grandson, her parents, one brother, Duane Moss, and sisters, Glenda Sue Keen and Patricia Ann Moss.Visitation for friends and relatives will be held on Friday, Oct 4, 2019 from 1pm to 7pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel, Forever Memories Funeral Service, Sallisaw. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019 at 10:00 am in the Box Cemetery, Vian, with Elder Elbert Rogers officiating.Pallbearers will be her grandsons Brandon, Joseph, Steve, and Clayton Andy McEver, Michael Pilkington, Curtis Dwayne Davis Jr., Allan Deen, and Andrew Denham.Funeral services have been entrusted to Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, Ok.
