Floyd Nelson Benge, 59, passed this life on December 6, 2017 in his home at Rocky Point, Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was born November 18, 1958 in Glendale, California to Floyd and Jean Benge. He was a graduate of Roland High School and retired from Whirlpool. Floyd enjoyed playing music, fly fishing, knife sharpening, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs.He is survived by his son, Justin Benge and wife, Renea; daughter, Amber Benge; daughter-in-law, Leslie Benge; sisters, Julie Young of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and Sherrye Wofford of Roland, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Alissa Benge, Noah Benge, Marissa Stidham, Kody Stidham, Morgan Dean, and lifelong friend, Kimberly Noyes.He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Benge; and son, William Benge. Visitation was held on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 4-7pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel at Forever Memories Funeral Services in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.Services for Mr. Benge will be Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 2pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel at Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, Oklahoma with Mr. Bill Mayfield officiating.
