David Lee Cheater, 60, of Marble City passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from an extended illness. David was born on April 13, 1958 in Tahlequah to Dave Cheater and Fannie Blackbird. David is survived by his wife, Winnie Pettit of the home; Sisters, Lorene Roberts, Birdie Wilson, Charlene Remigo all of Marble City, and Mary Pettit of Tahlequah; Brothers, Jimmie Cheater and Marvin Cheater of Marble City; Step daughter, Rachel Pettit of Marble City; Step sons, Aaron Pettit and Michael Pettit of Marble City; and a vey special grandson, Blue Jay Catron of Sallisaw; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rosa Cheater; brother, Daniel Cheater; and a nephew, Patrick Lee Cheater.Visitation for David Cheater will begin at 4pm in his home, 708 E Muskogee St, Marble City, on Sunday, Oct 14. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct 15, 2018, at 2:00pm in the Marble City School Gynmnasium, Marble City. Interment will follow in the Flute Springs Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jeffrey Roberts, Nick Tovar, John Steeley, Dravin Cheater, David Copeland, Jeff Cheater, Dwight Catron, Jericho Pettit.
