  6. Bob, as an inlaw and great grandfather to my 2 children and grandfather to my wife you have left an extraordinary legacy and amazing family in place. For generations to come your lessons of hard work and perseverance will be a foundation for that legacy. We all thank you for your many years of honorable service to our great country and we will be forever greatful for the lives you have provided for all of us and life lessons that you instilled in all who were fortunate enough to be part of the family. Save me a spot on the porch bench of those pearly gates so one day we can catch up on old times, until I see you again thank you for everything you did for us, you will be greatly missed.

  7. We salute your veteran. Our condolences for your loss & gratitude for your loved one’s service to our country. May your memories & God’s love bring you peace, comfort & strength at this difficult time. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal but LOVE leaves a memory no one can steal.

  9. Dad. It’s just me. Now coming upon three birthdays past, I just wanted to post some thoughts. First, I am so proud to be your son. You did your duty and not only served your country, stayed faithful to mom; but also inspired your children to continue with honor, integrity and character. You instilled, within each of us, the ‘work ethic’ and to never be afraid of working hard and earning respect. As you told me a few days before your passing; ‘old soldiers never die…they simply fade away’. And bless fully, this was your destiny. You left this world with dignity. In closing, and with eternal appreciation, you’ve blessed me with two fantastic sisters, a great brother and of course the ultimate mom. Thanks for always taking care of mom and giving your children a chance at life. Play nice with Jesus! I’ve kissed you goodbye and will see you on the other side. Until then, I love you dad… Your son… gwynn.
