Lee Ellen Groves, 68, of Sallisaw passed away early Wednesday afternoon from an extended illness. She was born on Oct 22, 1952, in Holly Grove, AR to William and Lille Mae (Martin) England. She had worked for many years with Oklahoma Foods and with Rheem Air Conditioning manufacturing in Fort Smith. Lee is survived by her daughter, Terri Parham; one sister, Sue Turner of Sallisaw; brothers, Boots England of Mississippi, and Wig England of Sallisaw; granddaughters, Haley and her husband Rhett Leach of Sallisaw, and Michalia Williams of Missouri; great grandchildren, Mason, Rhys, and Addison Leach of Sallisaw, and Brandon Chaney of Missouri; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Buck, Pete, Oakie, Arkie, and Cotton England, and one sister, Alice Ollis.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 11:00 am in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw. Services will be officiated by Anthony England.
