Robert Duane “Bud” Watterson, 56, of Sallisaw went to join our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 8, 2021. He was born in Kansas City, MO on Nov 29, 1964 to Leslie and Shirley Watterson. He was joined together in marriage to Cindy Dee Woody on Sept 8, 1987. Bud will be fondly remembered as a race horse trainer, mobile home and car salesman. He was not only filled with warming love that was so easily given, but he had the ability to affect everyone blessed to have known him.Bud was survived by his wife Cindy of the home; sons, Colton and his wife Brittany Watterson, and Cody Watterson, both of Sallisaw; one daughter, Lacy Watterson of Sallisaw; grandsons, Dalton, Liam, and Edrick; granddaughters, Adrianna, Emilia, and Olivia; one brother, David Watterson of Hollister, MO; sisters, Darlene Brandsma, and Denise Morris both of Kingsville MO; as well as a host of other relatives and friends that were blessed with his life. He was preceded in death by his parents.Memorial services will be held on Friday, Apr 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, OK.
