Katherine Kay Marion,77, was born September 15, 1943 to Roy A. Duty and Callie (Ross) Duty in Sallisaw, OK. She passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 in a Fort Smith hospital.

Survivors include Two children, Donna and husband Joe Haraway of Vian, OK, Ronnie and wife Delayna Marion of Sallisaw, OK; Three grandchildren, Brooke and husband Colt Sanders of Sallisaw, OK, Ryan and wife Jackie Byrd of Sallisaw, OK, Derrich Munholland of Van Buren, AR; Four great grandchildren, Maddlyn, Cash, and Jett Sanders, Hurley Byrd; Siblings, Don and Carolyn Adair of Muskogee, OK, Hazel Burrow of Tulsa, OK, Darlene Bruton of Sallisaw, OK, Roy “Skip” Duty and Linda Myers of Sallisaw, OK, Carnell and Phyliss Duty of Sallisaw, OK; along with many other nieces, nephews, and relatives.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Marion; Mother and father, Roy and Callie Duty; Sisters, June Parks, Betty Sutton, and Wilma Matlock.

Visitation for Katherine will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 1-6p.m in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, OK. Graveside services will be held at 10a.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Drake Stand cemetery in Vian, OK, with Pastor Terry Guthrie officiating services.

    She was the sweetest lady I would go to her dads and play in the field help with the cows and she would always have us something to drink and eat she was so easy to talk to and boy did she have stories it’s a crying shame we all have to grow up and get old I just loved her! Donna and Ronnie keep prayed up, trust in God and be happy!!!! Her and Calleen are up there dancing I can just see them! R.I.P. sweet lady!
