Graveside service for Donal Ray Rutledge Sr., 83, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 03, 2024 at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services, INC.
He was born on November 6, 1940 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Virgil and Mildred Rutledge and passed away on May 29, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Lusell Williams Rutledge on May 14, 1962. She preceded him in death on May 08, 2015. Donal Rutledge was a retired factory worker at Rheem and a veteran, serving proudly in the Army and Navy for 26 years.
Survivors are one son, Donal Ray Rutledge Jr. and Betsy of Sallisaw, Oklahoma and one daughter, Cindy Lou Ogdon and Terry of Muldrow, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren; two brothers Mike Rutledge and Wynona of Mt. Vernon, Texas, Jerry Rutledge and Terry of Ardmore, Oklahoma, a special friend Bettie Friemel; and several other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, one son, Johnny Mathis Rutledge, one sister, Mildred Jo Newman, and one great-granddaughter, Isabella Rose Ogdon.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 on Sunday, June 02,2024 at Forever Memories Funeral Services, INC. The family will greet guests from 5:00 – 7:00.
