On September 21, 2024, Jill Secora (Young) Bolin passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, and went home to be with the Lord. She was born on July 6, 1964, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Clarence “Kirk” Young and Elizabeth (Hickman) Young. She grew up in Muskogee but always enjoyed spending time with her granny, Iva Young, in Vian, where she eventually settled and made her family and home. She was married to Samuel Bolin and a mother of three children, Amy Craig and Felipe Flores of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Samuel Kirk and Chylsea Bolin of Sallisaw, and Bobbie Bolin and Phillip Watts of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She had six grandchildren that she cherished and adored.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Young, and sister, Carmen Young. She had an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was loved by many and will never be forgotten.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. There will be no public visitation.
The final resting place will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers are Samuel “Sammy” Bolin, Robert Tiger, Shawn Buster, and Jessie Martin.
The family has placed their trust in the caring hands of Forever Memories Funeral Services, INC, Sallisaw, Oklahoma, for the funeral arrangements.
