Josh’s professional life started when he was young, working construction for his father while attending Brushy Elementary and Central High School. He later decided to serve and protect by becoming a Deputy for the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Department. He enjoyed both roles; however, he knew his passion was the smell of dirt and diesel. He ventured out and became the proud founder of Circle D Excavation, a company he built from the ground up through hard work, determination, and a solid commitment to excellence. Starting with just a single bulldozer and a dream, Josh transformed his humble beginnings into a thriving business renowned for its reliability and excellence. Professionally driven with an entrepreneurial spirit at heart, Josh poured himself into building up the company he loved so dearly. Anyone who was ever lucky enough to share a conversation with him -whether it be 5 or 55 minutes – always walked away with a reminder of just how much he cared. To know him was to love him. As Josh steps down from this earth, he leaves behind a lasting legacy, entrusting his company to his children, who will continue to honor his life’s work and expand upon his vision. Josh’s spirit and legacy will forever live on through them, as well as the loyalty of those he inspired.

He constantly admired her intelligence, kindness, and unyielding strength, often expressing his gratitude for having such a remarkable partner by his side. His every action, whether grand or small, was infused with a profound love for her, and he never missed an opportunity to remind her of his affection. Their love story is one that will echo through time, a beautiful reminder of the prevailing power of true love and the irreplaceable bond they shared.

His presence resonated through every aspect of their lives, leaving an enduring mark of kindness, encouragement, and unspoken promises of unwavering support.

Josh’s three sons are his living legacy, embodying the values and wisdom he had imparted to them over the years. They carry forth the lessons their father had instilled, from kindness and integrity to resilience and hard work. Brayden, the one who made him a father, is the embodiment of his deepest pride and joy. Josh’s love for him was evident in every single smile and action. He taught Brayden the simple joys of fishing and the value of hard work, the thrill of the hunt, and most importantly, the boundless nature of love. He led by example, showing Brayden what it meant to love wholeheartedly and how to be an extraordinary father and provider. In every shared smile and lesson passed down, Josh’s spirit will live on, guiding Brayden into fatherhood. Josh’s love for his two younger sons, Aiden and Jayden, was as radiant as a beacon, lighting his life. Josh cherished every moment spent with them, finding happiness in their laughter and comfort in their presence. He was a devoted father, ever patient and kind, teaching them the values of a hard day’s work through his actions. Whether it was bedtime stories or workday adventures, Josh’s love was evident in everything he did. He also shared his passion and skills with Aiden and Jayden, teaching them to follow in his footsteps, imparting not only practical knowledge but also life lessons of responsibility and persistence.
