Biography

Daniel Lee Walters better known as “Rooster”, 67, of Muldrow, passed away
Tuesday, October 25th, 2022. Rooster was born July 4th, 1955, to Kelly and
Yolanda Walters. Rooster is survived by his wife Wanda Walters, two children
Chad and Brad Walters of Muldrow, brothers Kenneth Walters of Tulsa OK Larry
Walters of California and Mike Walters of Heber Springs AR. Rooster was preceded
in death by his father, mother, and one brother Roger Walters of Spiro OK.
Rooster is a Navy Veteran and spent 20 years with the Roland police department.
When he wasn’t working, He and Wanda enjoyed going to Branson, he would say
“as long as I can have a good meal, you could shop all you want.”.
Visitation for Rooster will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM at
the Pentecostal church, 107 N. Main Roland, OK
Services will be Friday, October 28th, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Pentecostal church in
Roland,  OK. Interment to follow at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow.
Pastor Steve Gray presiding.
Pallbearers: Jimmy Coughran, Robert Warburton, Toby Teach, Larry Ashing, Rocky
Raney and Jerry Darden.
Honorary Pallbearers: Roland Police Department
Services are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services of Sallisaw,
