Ramona Joyce Dillard

Ramona Joyce Dillard, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, left this world on February 15, 2025, in Catoosa, Oklahoma, at the age of 80. Born on September 1, 1944, in Hanson, Oklahoma, Ramona's  early years were shaped by her childhood experiences in Washington State, where she learned the values of resilience and hard work.

A proud graduate of Central High School in 1962, Ramona carried her educational foundation into a successful career as a Licensed Cosmetologist and Management professional. Her dedication to her craft was evident in the way she transformed not only her clients’ appearances but also their confidence. Her artistic talents and warm personality made her a cherished figure in her community.

Ramona's life was deeply rooted in family. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Glover, and son-in-law, Teddy Glover, who were sources of immense pride and joy for her. The laughter and love shared with her six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren enriched her life immensely, as they created beautiful memories together. Ramona shared a special bond with her siblings, including her brother Jerry Dobbs and sister-in-law Jennifer Dobbs, whom she held close to her heart.

While the joy of family was abundant in her life, Ramona's journey was not without its sorrows. She experienced the profound loss of her beloved parents, John E. Dobbs and Magoline Dobbs, as well as her siblings, John Michael Dobbs and Pamela Dobbs. Ramona faced the heartache of saying goodbye to her daughter, Linda Evans, and her son, John Wayne Dillard, along with her grandson, Jesse Dillard. Their memories, however painful, remained a testament to the love she carried for them throughout her life.

An adventurous spirit, Ramona found great joy in traveling, particularly to the charming shores of Galveston, Texas. These trips were opportunities for her to explore, reflect, and experience the beauty of life beyond her daily routine.

In remembering Ramona, we honor a life filled with love, creativity, and the enduring strength of a woman who touched so many hearts. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the memories of those who knew and loved her.
