Suphronia Amaro, 73, Passed away on Tuesday, Dec 25, 2018 in Vian. Mrs. Amaro was born on Nov 2, 1945, in Blackgum, OK to Albert and Delphia (Risley) Barnes. Memorial services will be held Saturday, 11:00 am in the First Baptist Church, Blackgum. Officiating services will be Shannon Barnes and Dale Ritter.Survivors include her sons, Keith Thomas, Chi Amaro, Adam Amaro, and Danny Amaro and his wife Stephanie; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Irvin Barnes, Forster Barnes, Elmer Barnes, Robin Barnes, and Marchelle Carter. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Amaro; her parents; son, Douglas Thomas; sisters, Jerrie Morgan and her husband Bob, Wyvonia Briggs and her husband Frank, Aelicia Gulrich, Emmalee Barnes; and brothers, Everett Barnes, and Christopher Randol.Funeral services are under the direction of Forever memories Funeral Service, Sallisaw.

  3. I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Suphronia. She was so kind and a very loving sister, mother and friend. She was my sister in law for many year’s and I Loved her as my blood sister. She will be missed by many people that loved her. My prayers will be with her family at this difficult time. Sending my love to her family, may God be with each and everyone of her family members.

  10. So sorry for your loss, I enjoyed talking to her. Didn’t see her much in the last several years. I enjoyed the times we got to play together when we were kids. Sorry she’s gone.
