Biography

Roland Clifton “R.C” Reeves, 76, passed from this life on Oct 6, 2019 in Vian. R.C. was born on Oct 15, 1942 in Vian to Ernest Reeves and Beulah Mae Harrison. RC was living at Savannah Park Apts in Vian, a place in which people were not only friends but treated him like family. He served his country in the US Army. Playing cards and domino’s with his friends brought joy to his life. We loved him but God loved him best. He is not suffering, all of his worries have been relieved and is heaven bound for God to receive. Be the best that you can be because someday, God is going to call you and me. Death is not an easy task, because nothing in this world lasts. He left behind to mourn his passing 3 sisters, Sallie Mae Harrison of Vian, Frances Louise Williams and Dorthene Betty Harrison of Tolleson, AZ; 1 brother, Larry Lee Harrison of Ft. Smith, AR. RC was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Cornelius James Harrison and James Neil Harrison.Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, Oct. 11, 2019 from 4pm to 7pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel, Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, OK. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct 12, 2019 at 2:30pm in the Mt Olive Baptist Church, Vian with Rev. T.D. Drew officiating. His final resting place will be in the Roselawn Cemetery, Vian, OK. Casket Bearers will be Sherman Olive, Michael Barnes, Louis Bland, Stanley Cubit, J.C. Taylor, and Kevin Taylor. Forever Memories Funeral Service has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
