What a wonderful legacy of a beautiful, sweet, passionate lady. I met Mrs. Weddle while working at Safeway. She encouraged me to go to school and become a teacher, which I did. We later crossed paths again as sisters of ADK! I cherished our friendship! Condolences to her family, you were so blessed to have had her for 91 years!

My heart is sad to hear of her passing. Mrs Weddle was a wonderful teacher and just a sweet person. Years after graduating I would run into her in town. She still remembered me and my friend Alisha. We’ve lost an Angel. My prayers go out to her wonderful family. She loved you greatly as I am sure you know.

So saddened by the passing of my Aunt Pat, but I imagine that she is having a joyous reunion with Uncle Curt and all her family and friends who preceded her. Although our family didn’t get to see her and her family often, I have wonderful memories of visiting them in McAlester. Sending sympathy and condolences to my cousins and their families. Her absence will be felt for a long time to come but the memories she left for us will live on in our hearts and keep her alive there. She will be missed.

I fondly remember Mrs.Weddle of one of my favorite teachers. She made a person feel good about themself. Thank you for the positive impact you brought to myself and many others. All people especially children need teachers and people like this in their life. Saddened but blessed to have known her.

It has been a four months now since Mom’s passing. Just mowed and trimmed at Mom’s house again and remembered how much she loved to just come home. Also thought about how it was just so the way she and Dad liked it. Their determination made it that way. We laughed when we remembered how if Mom wanted something to be done she never let go until it was done.Thank you to those who left such kind thoughts and fond memories of her especially for those of you whose lives were touched by her as a teacher. She would glory that you thought what she did was done well, needed and appreciated so. Let the best of what she had to give to you as a teacher live on in each of you and yours and even theirs. Truly our greatest contribution is those we leave behind.Wishing you each all the best.
