Biography

Norma Jean Villalon, 80, of Sallisaw, OK, passed away on October 31, 2021, in a Tulsa hospital.

Norma was born on January 01, 1941, to James and Ruby Akin, in Marked Tree, AR.

Survivors include her husband, José Villalon; 5 children, Cathy O’neal, Kenneth Smith, Andy Smith, Lori Smith, and Elizabeth Smith; 2 brothers, Robert and Billy Akin; 1 sister, Rita Mayo; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James, and Ruby Akin; 1 daughter, Lisa Smith; 2 sisters, Virginia and Louise.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 04, 2021, from 5-8 p.m in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral in Sallisaw.
Graveside services will take place Friday, November 05, 2021, at 2 p.m at Akins Cemetery with Heath Wood officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, OK.
