Biography

Norma Jean Nuss, 57, of Russellville, AR, passed away on November 22, 2016 in Little Rock. She was born on April 29, 1959 in Vian, OK to Bill and Jewel (Robinson) Brown. She was married to Butch Nuss on May 17, 1985.Norma Jean was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Sister-Dorothy Brown and 1 grandson-Dylan Nuss.Norma Jean is survived by her children; Jeremy Nuss, Jamica Anouar and her husband- Najim, Jason Nuss and his wife Ginger, Joshua Nuss and his wife- Victoria all of Branson, MO. Brothers and sisters; Bill Rosson and his wife-Doris of Vian, Ricky Robinson and his wife-Wanda of Howe, OK, Eddie Brown and his wife-Gurlean of Vian, Freddie Brown of Sallisaw, Doris Slavens of Muskogee, James Brown and his wife-Bink of Fort Smith, Floyd Brown and his wife-Rosie of Murfreesboro, TN, Linda Brown of Vian and Jackie Brown and his wife Trina of Harrah, OK. Grandchildren; Makyla, Makenlee, Makailynn, Blake, Chaylen, Desirae, Corbin, Zackery, Zoey, Jaylin, Adryana, Mali and Steven. And her companion Jimmy Samford.Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2016 at Forever Memories Funeral Service. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Round Mountain Community Church with Monte Humphrey officiating. Burial will follow in the Round Mountain Cemetery. Casket bearers will be; Shane Rosenberg, Chris Brown, Josh Nuss, Shane Cox, Andrew Moore and Jacob Moore. Honorary bearers will be; Bill Rosson, Ricky Robinson, Eddie Brown, Freddie Brown, James Brown, Floyd Brown and Jackie Brown.

  2. I remember my cousin Norma Jean as someone who was always very passionate about everything she believed in. I also remember that she truly cared for others and loved deeply. I am so glad I was able to go to the recent family reunion and see her there. I will miss her very much. Painful times in life such as this can serve as a reminder for us to forgive freely as Christ did, and to love and cherish our family.   4. Haven’t got to see you in the last several years but I will never forget the memories we made while running Pizza Hut of Poteau with your whole family. Lol. I loved you then and will see you soon Norma. Continued prayers for the family.
