Biography

Marlin Wayne Flute, 45, of Flute Springs, passed away at his home Saturday evening, Oct. 6, 2018. He was born on Oct. 26, 1972 in Tahlequah to Mack Flute and Norma Pettit. He had worked as a supervisor with Aviagen for over 15 years.Marlin was survived by his father, Mack Flute, of Flute Springs; his mother, Norma Steeley, of Marble City; Children, Isaiah Young, Derek Young, and Jasmine Young all of Flute Springs; Brothers, Jeremy Flute, Chris Wolfe, Troy Parker; Sisters, Jennifer Flute, and Makisha Flute; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.Visitation for Marlin will be on Wednesday evening, Oct. 10, 2018 from 5-7pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of the Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw. Funeral services will be on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018 at 1 pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel with John Flute officiating. Burial will follow in the Flute Springs Cemetery, Flute Springs. Casket bearers will be Troy Parker, Zeke Mockicin, Alan Pettit, Sonny Cooksey, David Pettit, Jerome Flute, Dillon Flute, and Jeremy Flute.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Forever Memories Funeral Service, Sallisaw.

  2. It was my pleasure know marlin , watch him with his kids and mackWhen they would come into the store.. He would always take time to say hello and ask how things were going for me. Always thinking of others . I will miss his smile and kind words. To his family& friends. my prayers are with you .may your sadness turn to happy memories soon.
