Mark Allen Baker II

Mark Allen Baker II

Biography

Mark Allen Baker II, 36, gained his heavenly wings on February 26, 2022, and is now playing dominoes with his Mema and Papa. During his too-short stay, he always made sure everyone knew that he was Memas favorite and in true Mark Allen fashion he raced off to be the first one to see her.

Mark was born on November 9, 1985, to Mark Allen Baker and Lisa Ann Baker of Sallisaw Oklahoma. He was a technology-obsessed history buff and was the biggest Oklahoma Sooner fan you’d ever find. He had a passion for politics and a fierce love for his nieces and nephews that he made sure everyone in every room he entered knew about. To know Mark was to know that he would do anything for anyone that he could and to be his friend meant you wouldn’t be without as long as he was able to help.

Mark graduated from Vian High School in Vian Oklahoma in 2004. At 17, he enlisted in the Army and went on to receive medical training while serving his country, which was his most valued accomplishment to date. He served at the state level in Texas while helping with many other political campaigns and elections during his time there. Mark was a born leader and always found himself in leadership roles in the various careers he had. He had a passion for animals and served on the board for the animal shelter while living in the Farmers Branch. He would have brought home every “doggo” in the world if he could have, and attempted to adopt a new one every time his spouse wasn’t looking.

Mark is survived by his father Mark Baker and stepmother Gina Coppock of Sallisaw, OK. Mother Lisa Baker of Lake St. Louis, MO, and stepfather Ron Bledsoe of St. Peters, MO. Sisters Tanya Rowe and husband Joshua of Siloam Springs, AR and Morgan Cravens and husband Sparks of Muldrow, OK. Brothers Brandon Bledsoe of Clearwater, FL, and Joshua Bledsoe and wife Asia of Cottleville, MO. Nieces and nephews Daisy, Jobe, Addilyn, Oliver, Jaxon, and Aubrey.
