Biography

Lois M. Thomison, 69, of Sallisaw passed away on Monday afternoon, April 26, 2021, in a Muskogee hospital. Lois was born on May 30, 1951 in Warner, OK, to Harry and Maxine (Sizemore) Smith. She was faithful in the Baptist Church, and had worked for many years with the Schwan’s Food Co. She loved to fish, and adored listening to and following Elvis Pressley. Her most favorite times were with her family. Spending time with her grand children was always a important part of her day.Lois is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Sandra and John Guest of Muldrow, Crystal and Tarry Qualls of Sallisaw; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; brother, Tom and his wife Carol Smith of Ft. Gibson; sister, Oleta Smith of Pryor; Brother in Law, George Thomison of Sallisaw; Sister in Law Peggy and her husband James Stark of Sallisaw; and a host of other friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband. Phillip Thomison; and two brothers, Cecil and Johnny Smith.
