Linzy Wayne Byers 69, passed this life on Friday September 15, 2017 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was born on August 7, 1948 in Sequoyah county to Jack and Lillie Byers. He leaves to mourn his passing, wife, Lou Byers; 2 sons Scotty Holcomb and wife Angela of Sallisaw, Mitch Holcomb and wife Sherry of Vian; 3 daughters Marge Brown of Beth, New York, Ada Elk Charley of Muldrow, and Melissa Byers of Sallisaw; 2 brothers Burney Byers and wife Karen of Sallisaw, Thomas Taylor and wife Ruthie of Sallisaw; 2 sisters Jo Ann Erwin of Sallisaw, Barbara Barrett of Sallisaw; 13 Grandchildren, 9 Great-grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma with Cleon Harrell officiating. The U.S. Army will be posting military honors. Casket bearers will be J.D. Teehee, Noah Teehee, Don Hyatt, Reuben Kemp, Charley Elk, Blake Erwin, Shelby Noel and Bo Byers. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday evening from 5-7 pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel.The family has entrusted the care of Linzy with the Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, 0klahoma 918-775-2222
