Dear family and friends,I am very sorry for your loss. Lavon was a wonderful lady. She was always kind and encouraging to others even when she had difficult losses of her own.My Mother (Hazel King) loved Lavon like a daughter. She was so pleased to have Lavon at the nursing home during her final days and held her in highest regard. Mother knew she could always count on Lavon.I pray God comforts you during this time of your loss. Most respectfully,Patti

My condolences to her family. She was such a sweet and kind person. I met Lavon the day she started working at the nursing home, I was about 11 or 12 at the time, and she was 18. I was their trying to get something from my Mom (Hester Davis), and I remember staring at Lavon and thinking, she is too young and too pretty to be working here. At that time everybody over 20 was old. I saw her periodically over the next 50 years and she always seemed the same. Still pretty, friendly and just all around a very good person to know. Rest in Peace old friend, and may god grant comfort and Peace to your loved ones.
