Calvin Clifford Harvey, 67, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas; he was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Wallace and Goldie Harvey on September 22, 1957.
Calvin was a decorated Army veteran who spent 37 years working at Rheem Manufacturing in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He also hung sheetrock with his father for many years. Calvin loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, fellowship, and working with his hands. Calvin always looked for a way to help others.
He is survived by his wife, Anita; his children, Brianne and Ryan Kinder; siblings, June and Rich Looper; and a host of other family members and friends.
Calvin is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Calvin will be Friday, January 24, 2025, from 12 pm to 7 pm at Forever Memories Funeral Services, with family greetings from 3 pm to 5 pm.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 2 pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel at Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, Oklahoma, 74955. Calvin’s final resting place will be at Sallisaw City Cemetery, Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers are Falon Rackley, Chris Turner, Kyle Looper, Jim Alderson, Mike Alderson and Josh London. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathon Kody Looper and Chase Alderson.
