Vida Marie Walker (Watie) 79, born on September 21, 1941 in Fort Smith, AR to Albert Kye Watie and Tiny Watie (Black). She passed from this life on January 12 2021. She Married her husband Alvin Walker on March 18, 1960. She worked as a Dietitian for most of her life. Vida is survived by three daughters, Deborah Walker of Sallisaw, Patricia Diane Walker of Sallisaw, and Linda Killian and Robin Killian of Gore. One son Garren Walker and Lola Walker of Sallisaw, One brother Albert Watie Jr. of Muldrow. Nine grandchildren, Jordan Deere, Melissa Marsh, ShawNee Walker, Dawson Lane Walker, Winter Walker, Lexi Killian, Hunter Killian, Jake Killian and Colton Killian. Five great grandchildren, Dakota Marsh, Kye Deere, Noah Deere, Blakeley Marsh, Amelia Jo Deere. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alvin E. Walker, one son Gary Dean Walker, three sisters Willie Clarke, Daisy Watie, and Opal Hill.Visitation Mrs. Walker will be on Thursday, Jan 14, 2021 from 4-7 pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, Ok. Graveside services will be held on Friday, Jan 15, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Round Mountain Cemetery, Vian with Heath Wood officiating.
