Biography

Vernon Anderson Pratt Jr., 77, of Sallisaw, OK, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022.

Vernon was born February 9, 1945, to Vernon Pratt Sr. and Wanda (Plank) Pratt Asher in Muldrow, OK.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Pratt; daughters, Laura Pratt Harrell, Brittany and husband Heath Gregory, Tammy and husband Keith Tatham; son, Joe and wife Darla Morgan; siblings, Kendall Asher; grandchildren, Valorie and Ted Davidson, Shelby and Bailey Morgan, Brooke Walker, Emily Graham, Henley Graham, Heaven Pratt, Madison, Jacob, and Jaycie Gregory, Dustin and wife Marilana Tatham; and great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Walker, Cole, Alana, Channing, and Aspyn Tatham.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Wanda Pratt; brothers, Jesse Pratt, Lloyd Pratt, Charles Pratt, Joe Asher, Billy Ray Pratt, James Pratt, and sisters, Theresa Laster and Barbara Hamby.

A visitation for Vernon will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 5-8 PM in the chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services.

The funeral will take place on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 2 PM, at Mineral Springs Free Will Baptist Church in Muldrow, OK. Burial will follow at Brushy Cemetery.

Casket bearers are Eddie Pratt, Jerry Pratt, David Pratt, Jacob Gregory, Chance Asher, Jerry Thornell, and Heath Gregory.

Honorary bearers are Gary and Judy Treat, Shellie and Robby Riddle, Wayne Riggs, Betty Plank, Mary Plank, Ted Davidson, Sharon and Gary Moffett, Tracy Schielky, Tracy Swearingen, Lisa Dame, and Keith Tatham.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services

  1. We will keep you and the family in our prayers. Jr was one of a kind- he will be missed by many. He loved his family and was a care giver for many. He can walk the streets of gold now with no pain. Keeping you in our hearts💕
