Biography

Stanley Eugene Floyd, 64, of Roland, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday evening, September 20, 2021, at the Higher Call Nursing Center in Quapaw, Oklahoma, surrounded by family after an long illness.
Stanley was born April 28, 1957 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Johnny and Virginia (Lowrimore) Floyd. He graduated from Commerce High School with the class of 1976. After high school, Stanley attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. In 1977, Stanley married his high school sweetheart Darlene L. Allman of Miami, Oklahoma. Stanley and Darlene had two sons, Jeremy and Jason Floyd of Miami, Oklahoma.
Stanley pursued many dreams in his lifetime and wore many hats in his career. If there was one place that he loved the most and that was sitting on a sandy beach watching the tide of an ocean. Most importantly, Stanley loved spending time with his family, friends, and living life to the fullest.
Stanley is preceded in death by his Father, Johnny Floyd.
He is survived by his Mother, Virginia Floyd of Van Buren, Arkansas; Brother Dale Floyd and Virginia Floyd of Roland, Oklahoma, Brother Arthur and Jean Floyd of Greenwood, Arkansas, Sister Sondra and Ray Reynolds of Dequeen, Arkansas; his children, Jeremy and Mellisa Floyd of Miami, Oklahoma, and Jason Floyd of Miami, Oklahoma. Stanley has seven grandchildren Seth, Makinsie, Denver, Dakota, Charlie, Jasmyn, and Jase; two great grandchildren Sophia and Norah; Along with several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Services will be held on September 24, 2021 at 2PM at the Forever Memories Funeral Service Chapel located at 420 W. Ray Fine Blvd in Roland, Oklahoma. The service will be officiated Rev. Dale Floyd and Rev. Ray Reynolds.
Stanley will be laid to rest in Akins Cemetery following the service.
