Sherry L Cowett, 49, of Sallisaw passed away early Wed afternoon, Feb 26, 2020, in the hospital. Sherry was born on Aug 6, 1970 in Clinton, OK to G.F. and Mary (Randle) Cowett. She worked for many years as a Nursing Aide. She is survived by her mother, Mary Cowett of Sallisaw; sister, Melissa Caughman and her husband Glen of Brushy; brother, John N Cowett and his wife Rhonda of Brushy; daughter, Katelynn Cowett and son, Holden Cowett; 2 granddaughters Oakley Smith and Kenlynn Smith; 3 nephews, 1 niece and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, G.F. Cowett.Visitation for Sherry will be on Sunday afternoon, March 1, 2010 from 2-5 pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Service, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Mar 2, 2020 at 10:00 am in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel with interment in the Brushy Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Service, Sallisaw

  5. We are saddened to hear of Sherrys passing. She was always so sweet to me. We are praying for comfort for the family and all of her loved ones. May God hold you tight today and always. Lean into Him and He will give you strength.

  8. I’m so sorry for the loss of a good friend. Sherry was a great lady she and I went to school together she was a good friend. My prayers go to the family. God be with you through out your time of grief.
