Biography

Paul Little, 65, of Sallisaw, died on Monday, January 2, 2017 in OKC. He was born on February 25, 1951 in Westfir, OR to Kenneth and Mary (Dale) Little.Paul was a proud veteran of the US Army where he was an expert rifleman and received a commendation letter from the President of the United States for his service. He was a retired heavy equipment operator by profession and a Holiness minister where he continued to serve in the army of the Lord. He was a fisherman and loved to hunt, but mostly, he loved his family. He loved to work with wood where he built what was needed for their home, wood crafting for his wife, children and friends. His greatest wish was that his children and grandchildren would dedicate their lives to God. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, sister-Barbra Little, 3 brothers; Edward, Monty and David. Paul is survived by his wife-Sharon Kay Little, 4 Children; Elaine Cripps of Sallisaw, Angela Hendricks of Muldrow, Crystal Hodges and her husband Donald of Sallisaw and Michael Little and his wife Dawn of Sallisaw. 19 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Forever Memories Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2017 in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services of Sallisaw with Brother Bryan Duke and Brother Billy Don Weeks officiating. Burial will follow in Buffington Cemetery. Casket bearers will be; Brother Jerry Taylor, Brother Jack Jamison, Brother Tommy Taylor, Brother Jammie Fargo, James Layman, Dean Honeycutt. Honorary bearers will be his grandsons; James Cripps, Jerrid Cripps, Arty Farris, William Farris, Rocky Cripps and Christopher Little.
