  1. Known my friend Mark a long time. There was several of us that grew up in the same neighborhood. Same schools as well. We all were pretty tight during our school days. It always seemed the central hang out was at Doug and David’s house most the time. So many experiences and memories, where do ya start? From hangin out on the railroad tracks, the woods behind those tracks, camping in the field behind the EZ Mart during the summer and staying up all night, playin baseball in that same field and not to mention all the shenanigans during school. It hits close to home when it’s someone you grew up with. We all were pretty tight in our school days until we had to grow up and become adults. I know he fought hard and I hate that he’s gone. He will be missed. Our life is but a vapor. Enjoy your family and friends while you can.

  2. Mark was a great freind, and like a brother . We spent a lot of years growing up on the north side of Fort Smith. Most os our teenage years was spent either my house or at his house. We spent many weekends “camping” in our back yard. We did alot of dumb stuff together, thankfully before the internet. Alot of it would have been on the internet, had it been around.

I will always remember meeting Mark for the first time it was the summer of 1983 and his cousins Gary,Jana, and Shandy lived next door to my family and one day I went to church with them we were the only young ones there so we wee in the rec room playing ping pong. Mark held my arms while his cousin Gary busted me with a paddle. I remember thinking Mark was a pretty funny guy kind of cute too if he would lose the trucker hat . Mark was for sure one of a kind and I will always remember him fondly and as a friend .
