Biography

Litty Lanell Flores, 61, of Westville, Oklahoma, passed away on May 29, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones at home. Litty was born in Hereford, Texas, on August 12, 1962, to Willis Hothouse and Margie (Ponder) Moore.

Litty worked with her children’s father, Juan, in the factory daily until her health would no longer allow her to continue. She became his pillar of strength as she helped build and hold together his next ventures in life. But even her health would not stand in the way of her being a wonderful mother. “Momma Litty” was not just a mother to her children but a guiding light and a source of comfort to many others. Despite the unique challenges each child she cared for faced, they all knew they had a home at Momma Litty’s house. She was the one you could share your secrets with, the one to stand by your side, right or wrong, only ever asking for a simple hug in return.

Through the years, she attended countless sporting events, never just cheering on one or two, but always the whole team. She could always be heard in the stand with her loud whistle, followed by even louder “woo woo” despite what the actual score might have been or that it was just a regular season game, she made them all feel like they were winning the championship game. That is just who she was as a mother and a friend. She believed in the purpose of every single person she knew. She was the absolute best friend a person could have and a dear friend to many. She was a fighter and fought through it all, never giving up. She was and is still so very loved. She will be missed beyond measure, but we know she is smiling down at us all, waiting for her hug.

Litty is survived by her sons, Brandon Lee Hothouse and Michael Arron Hothouse and wife Tabitha; her siblings, Tonye Hothouse, Willa and Francisco Padron, Dollie and Darrell Pauley, Johnny Lee Hothouse, Willis Jr. and Tammy Hothouse and her sisters in love, Melly, Diana, Claudia, Isbell, and Gaby; her grandchildren, Teresa, Brandon Jr, Bailey, Chevelle, Luke, Aubrey and Dylan, her cousins, Kelly Metcalf, Jamey Hothouse, Jenny Hothouse, her nieces, JoLee Glenn, Bethany McCluney, her very best friend, Mary Sams; the father of her children and dear friend, Juan Flores, as well as numerous other relatives and friends who also adored her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her nephews, Jerry Jones, James Padron, and Brandon Michael Hothouse, and one niece, Lori Mason.

The family of Litty would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Linda Hothouse, Kelly and Sam Metcalf, and Netta Hothouse for their unwavering support and love for Litty. Your presence in her life was cherished, and your kindness will never be forgotten. You were her rock when she needed it, and she loved you all deeply.
