He had a good sense of humor and never let us take ourselves to seriously, while adding an element of fun to any job he did. He loved spending time with his family, taking his grandchildren to the store for cokes and candy bars, or making milkshakes for the little ones. He was easy to talk with, made friends everywhere he went. His greatest desire was for his family to know Christ as their savior and be active in a church family. He was a good man and a good friend to many. Could not have had a better father-in-law. My dad and Johnny were the best men to look up to for my sons and I . He taught them how to work hard and have fun while u were doing it. I hope I am half the grandpa he was to my boys. You will be missed.
