Jerry Lee Cheater passed this life on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Vian Nursing Home in Vian, Oklahoma. He was born on August 21, 1941 to Watt and Lizzie Cheater. Jerry loved spending time with his family. He loved to watch wrestling and was an avid OU fan. He married Darlene Shoemaker on November 8, 1977.He leaves to mourn his passing, children; Virginia Hamby of Stilwell, OK., Loretta and Mike Rodriguez of Weatherford, OK., Jerrie and David Vann of Stilwell, OK., Stephanie Johnson of Stilwell, OK., Gina Cheater of Ardmore, OK., Kimberley Taylor of Tishomingo, OK., Jerry Cheater Jr. and wife, Angie of Marble City OK., Charles Cheater and wife Teresa of Hydro, OK., Terry Cheater and wife, Brenda of Brushy, OK., Earl Johnson and wife, Keisha of Stilwell, OK., Spunk Johnson and Tina of Vian, OK., Stephen Lee Johnson of Bunch, OK., one brother; Robert Cheater of Guthrie, OK., one sister; Ada Cheater of Weleetka, OK. Jerry is also survived by twenty-eight grand-children and fifty-five great grand-children, many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; his parents, 2 brothers, one sister, and one grand-daughter.Visitation is Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Forever Memories Funeral Services.Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11am in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel at Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, OK.
