  1. I don’t know your family but was so saddened to hear of your loss. I have known Daniel Choate since he was a toddler, and am aware that he and your son planned to leave next month for the Air Force. Words seem so inadequate at this time but I pray that God will give you His peace that passes all understanding and will send the Holy Spirit to comfort you now and in the days ahead. Please allow precious memories with your son to comfort you as well. Your son earned his wings early in life. He is with Jesus and the angels now. Peace be with you all.

  2. Jake, you were my best friend and my brother. We’ve been through a lot together, and I love you very much. You are loved and will be dearly missed. No words can describe the grief I am feeling, I’ve lost a brother. It’s hard but I know that God has a plan. I love you Jake. Stay strong brother. Brad and Laurie, I will always be there anytime you need me, I can’t imagine what you are feeling and I am so so sorry. If you need anything please don’t hesitate to call me. I love you guys!

  30. You may not remember us, but we certainly remember you all…especially Jake. We are the Lewis’ from CA., and we came to your home before we left Vian, after one of our Lewis family reunions. Of all the Lewis’ we met, Jake stood out like a shining light. As we were setting up the food, he was right there helping us. When it was over, he was helping clean up.He must of been about 13 or 14. I thought, who is this young man that jumps in and helps like this? This is one of God’s jewels, showing us how Jesus wants us to serve. We are praying for God to comfort you and your family, love, Wayne and Janet

For whatever reason God needed him for, let his light shine on this earth forever. <3

You brought so much joy to everything around you we will all truly miss you. I feel that God has a plan for each and everyone of us and when it’s time to go, then we just gotta let go.
