Biography

Glenn Holland Thomas III, 56, of Vian OK., passed from this life Friday, April 7, 2017 at his home. Glenn was born on May 27, 1961, in Centreville, MS to Glenn and Eleanor Thomas. On April 10, 1987 in Vancleave, MS, he married Sabrina Taylor.He started his medical career in 1987 as a respiratory therapist at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula. MS, and in the summer of 2003 he and his family moved to Oklahoma where he continued his career with Mobility Plus of Muskogee. His hobbies include gardening, cooking, and trying new cuisines and collecting cookbooks.Survivors include his wife Sabrina, of the home; three sons and two daughters in law, Amos and Regina Thomas of Vian, Micah and Meagan Thomas of Riesel, TX, and Jesus Thomas of the home. Three daughters, Alexis, Veronica, and Jessica Thomas, all of the home; six grandchildren, Noah and Emma Thomas of Riesel, TX; Reanna, Clayton, Levi, and Nolan Thomas of Vian. Parents, Glen and Eleanor Thomas of St. Francisville, LA. Two brothers and sisters in laws, Howard and Nancy Thomas of North Bend WA, Will and Lisa Thomas of Mandeville, LA; one sister and brother in law, Shannon and Christine Pollet of St. Francisville, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews. Additional children of the Thomas family include Drake Morgan, Cole Morgan, John-Ivan and Apple Gotico, Jaden Uypitching, along with many other children that shared the Thomas household.Glenn was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Evelyn and Margaret Wade; paternal grandfathers, Ray Farrah and Glenn Thomas Sr. His in-laws, William and Virginia Taylor.Funeral services will be held at the Zion Holiness Church, Vian, OK, on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Casket bearers will be Ralph Lopez, Ralphie Lopez, Elijah Lopez, Sam Lopez, Donny England, Arba Jett, D.J. Walters, and Ronnie White. Honorary casket bearers will be Clayton Thomas, Noah Thomas, Levi Thomas, Nolan Thomas, and John-Ivan Gotico.

  5. Sabrina so sorry to hear about Glenn. I am still in shock myself. I will certainly keep you, your children and family in my prayers. Glenn will be missed. He was a good friend, a good therapist and a great man of God! It was an honor and a pleasure to have known him and worked with him. May God comfort you and give you peace at this sorrowful time.

  8. Glenn was one of the kindest men I have ever known. He was a strong Christian man who never shyed away from speaking about his relationship with God. When he walked into the room you knew you would have some wonderful "laughs." He had a great sense of humor, was always happy, a pleasure to be be around. I know he has left a "footprint" in many lives that will always be remembered. Prayers for Sabrina & family! Love & miss you Glenn, RIP!

  9. Glenn was an amazing person with a heart of gold. He truly loved the Lord and showed that in everything he did and said. I met Glenn when I was a Respiratory Therapy student. He was my mentor and he became my friend. He will be missed! This is not goodbye, but see you again my friend!

  24. I am so sorry to hear about Glenn he was wonderful person, great friend, he will be greatly missed. We worked a long time with Him at Muskogee Regional.
