She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sallisaw, OK where she was a prayer warrior. She enjoyed baking homemade breads, jelly, and bonnets. She spent multiple Saturdays at the Farmer’s Market where she made wonderful friends and lasting relationships.
She is survived by her son, Greg Burnsed and wife Terri of Sallisaw, OK, granddaughter Claire Taliaferro, her husband Trevan and great grandson Grayson of Ft. Smith, AR. She is also survived by grandsons Stephen and Michael Burnsed, and granddaughter Traci Middleton and their children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and son, Wayne Burnsed.
Elizabeth’s family would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to all those who were her friends. To you lovely people who came by to spend time with her and to simply listen to her stories or at the very least had a chore to do around the house, thank you. Much love to all her caregivers from Peters’ Agency in Sallisaw, nurses, church family, and the Farmer’s Market crew. The help you gave her on Saturdays was a wonderful thing to do. She enjoyed her time with all of you.
Elizabeth will be greatly missed, but we that proclaim Christ as Savior will be reunited again by death or His second coming. Until then I know she would say I love you and keep running the race.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Sallisaw First Baptist Church or to Gideon’s International for the purchase of bibles in her memory.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services of Sallisaw, OK.
