Donna June Plank, 60, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, left this earth on May 07, 2023, in Wildrose, North Dakota. Donna was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas, to Wendell and June Lowrimore on December 1st, 1962. She graduated from Sallisaw High School and soon after received her cosmetology license. Donna was well known for her skills with a pair of scissors. Donna worked many years with the special needs community of Sequoyah County, and that was her true calling. She also worked as a cook for the Sallisaw School system, bringing smiles to many hungry children. Once her cherished children were grown, she left Sallisaw. She married Roger Plank on December 29th, 2012, in Muldrow, Oklahoma, and moved to North Dakota. She enjoyed her favorite past times, like taking care of the Wildrose community park and decorating it for the holidays. She was always ready to wake up early and hit the road for the yard sales; she was sure not to miss a good deal. You would never find her in any boutique; thrift stores were her preferred place. She had a vibrant love for country music. Alan Jackson, Dwight Yoakum, and Reba McEntire were some of her favorites. Her smile was contagious, and she would light up the room with it. We will always cherish her in our memories.

Donna, everytime I would see you at the grocery store you always had a big smile on your face. I enjoyed our visits. RIP my friend. 🙏🙏
I met Donna almost 30 years ago at a mutual job in Sallisaw. She always had a smile to share and was such a patient and truly caring person. We hadn’t seen each other in years but I always considered her my friend. Our world is a little darker without her bright light tonight. Love and prayers for her loved ones.
Roger Dale, I am so very sorry to hear this my friend! Praying for comfort in your hearts for her entire family!
