Biography

Bobby Charles Freeman entered fully into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 11, 2019 at the age of 78. He was born on May 2, 1940 to the late Troy and Dovie Freeman in Marlow, OK. Bobby attended and graduated from Roland schools and was a veteran of the US Air Force. He will forever be remembered by his loving family and friends.Bobby is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ruth M. Freeman of Vian, OK; two daughters, Cheryl Frey and husband Lucky, and Kellie Hammett; grandchildren, Bobbi Hartman and husband Ryan, Travis Frey and wife Paige, Taylor Hammett, Chase Hammett; two sisters, Charlene Parker and Willene and her husband Mickey Mize; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Kevin James; and two sisters, Anna Jo Owens and Jeanette Hagey.We would like to extend our love and gratitude to John and Sharon Champlin and Lyle and Joan Ballard. We don’t know what we would have done without your love and support through the years and we consider you family.A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 2pm in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel at Forever Memories Funeral Services, 463505 Hwy 101, Sallisaw, OK. Earl Roberts and Lyle Ballard will be officiating.Services are under the direction of Forever memories Funeral Service, Sallisaw.

  1. I am sorry to hear of Bob’s passing.he was a very special man. & he always was do very sweet & nice person.he would always talk to me a lot when he would see me.Heaven has gained a ‘Very Special Angel’ may God bless this Very special angel.

  2. I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Freemans passing. I remember the day he came into the hardware store and we found out we both Freemans. My heart and prayers go out to them. He was such a sweet and kind man.

  5. Mr Freeman was one of my Favorite Wal-Mart Customers He Always came there my line ,It saddens me he has Passed..Bobby you will be Missed Very Much.

  6. My memories of Bob are from high school in Roland. He was in the class with my brother, Bob Mize. They were very good friends and Bob visited in our home at lot. Between my brother and Bob, our Mother used to say they had more energy, more like 4 or 5 boys instead of only two. Always fun to be around and so full of life. I was not fortunate to be around him during our adult years but I’m sure he never outgrew that full of life personality. I know he will be terribly missed by all his family and friends.
