Biography

Jimmy Harold Taylor, 73, of Sallisaw passed away on Monday, July 24, 2021, in Vian, OK.  Jimmy was born on Dec 29, 1947, in the Bluff Community to George and Eula Pauline (Wilson) Taylor.  He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in in Vietnam with his twin brother Johnny.  He served in country from Sept 1968 to Nov 1969.  After his service to our country he worked in various construction projects.

 

He is survived by three brothers, Richard Taylor of Sallisaw, Tommy and his wife Brenda of Sallisaw, Johnny and his wife Lydia Taylor of Owasso; also a host of other relatives and friends that include his grandchildren, and great grandchildren.   Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, one son, Jamie Taylor, two brothers, Kenneth and Billy Taylor, and one sister in law, Sue Taylor.

 

Graveside services will be held in the Buffington Cemetery, Sallisaw, on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at 10:00 am officiated by Brother Jerry Taylor and Brother Bryan Duke.  Due to Covid concerns, there will be no viewing.

  2. Richard, Tommy, Johnny, I am so sorry for your lost. I was in the family long enough to know that you boys was so close. When I came into family as billy waynes other half there was 6 now stand 3. I know jimmy is at peace now. I prayer for peace for the family. I will not be able to attend as I just had major back surgery a week ago and unable to travel. Love all of you.. Joy
